How do i grow up to be an nba basketball player?
there isnt anything in my life that i love more than the sport of basketball. i love it more than anything in my life. i play every single day. i practice, i play pick up games at ,my local park and i want to make it to the pros more than anything.im 14 years old and im 5'5 my predicted height is around 5'11 to 6'1 my dream is to play in the nba but i love the sport so much i wouldnt complain if i made it to the d league or even played over seas i just love it so much and i want to chase this dream. if im good enough to make it on to my high school basketball team next year and i get into a good college i wanna know how to take my dream to the next level. someone once told me that the average kid, who is a DECENT player has only a 1 and 10,000 chance of making it. and all my family and friends doubt me. but i want to prove them all wrong. i know i can do it, but how. most really good basketball players at my skool have professional trainers help them with there skill and strength training and they play for a really good traveling team. i have none of this without the financial support of my father and he keeps telling me that most likely i wont make it and i need to have a back up plan with my life. i want to play basketball im so dedicated to it? how do i get better and take my game to the next level without the support of my family. and most importantly how do i make it professionally.?????????
